Understand private storage and publication
Viewer parsing, private storage, local conversion and public publication are separate states with different privacy effects.
What to do
- Opening a viewer file does not publish it.
- The storage notice explains when an original enters the private library.
- The standalone converter does not send source file data to the server.
Privacy and reliability
Files are parsed on your device. In the viewer, the original is also kept in your private library after the storage notice and stays private until you publish it; the standalone converter never uploads anything.
TipKeep a backup of the original. Browser conversion is convenient, but it does not replace world backups or source control.
