Where the format comes from
Modern Java worlds divide terrain into region files containing chunks and vertical sections. A whole world is rarely the right schematic, so choosing an area is a required part of the workflow.
What Schematic Studio keeps · and its limits
Modern palette-based chunks and selected block states are read. Very old pre-palette chunks and uncommon external or LZ4 region chunks are not converted.
How to use it.
Choose your file in the viewer or converter.
Review dimensions, origin and block totals before rendering.
Inspect layers, materials and camera angles · or export a selected world area.
Common questions.
Does the converter upload my world?
No. The standalone converter reads and exports the file on your device.
How large can the selection be?
Up to 200 million block positions and 32,767 blocks per axis; dense areas may need a smaller box.
Why does a large file fail to open?
Dense builds can exceed browser memory or GPU capacity even below the 200 MB limit. Close other heavy tabs, try a smaller selection, or see Troubleshooting.
