How to open Minecraft schematic files

Choose a supported file from the Viewer. It is parsed on your device first; opening it does not automatically publish it.

01

What to do

  1. Confirm the extension is .litematic, .schem, .schematic, .nbt, .mcstructure, .zip or .mca.
  2. Keep the input below 200 MB and close memory-heavy browser tabs before loading a dense world.
  3. Wait for parsing and meshing to finish before judging missing blocks or textures.
02

Privacy and reliability

Files are parsed on your device. In the viewer, the original is also kept in your private library after the storage notice and stays private until you publish it; the standalone converter never uploads anything.

TipKeep a backup of the original. Browser conversion is convenient, but it does not replace world backups or source control.
